Refugee Status

Procedures for international protection in Poland often raise a lot of questions. Foreigners may not always understand the difference between refugee status and subsidiary protection, what circumstances need to be proven, or what happens after the application is filed.

Cases like these require serious and careful preparation.

I provide support in cases involving international protection, refugee status, and other humanitarian grounds for staying in Poland.

International protection and refugee status

When an application is filed, the authorities examine the grounds for granting international protection and assess whether the conditions are met for granting refugee status or subsidiary protection.

The individual circumstances of the applicant and evidence demonstrating that they cannot safely return to their country of origin are of key importance.

In refugee status cases, facts of persecution, threats, violence, or discrimination may be relevant, particularly those related to political views, membership of a particular social group, religion, nationality, or other circumstances provided for by law.

When considering subsidiary protection, the authorities assess whether there is a real risk of serious harm to the person if they were to return to their country of origin.

Preparing for the procedure

Cases like these require serious and careful preparation. It is not enough just to file an application — you also need to correctly present the circumstances of your situation, prepare for the interview, and gather relevant documents and other evidence.

As part of my support, I:

— analyze your migration situation;
— assess the grounds for applying for international protection;
— help build the evidence base;
— prepare you for the interview;
— support you throughout the review of the application;
— review correspondence and decisions from the migration authorities;
— where necessary, prepare documents for a further appeal.

It’s important to understand the consequences of being granted protection

Being granted international protection is not always the end of the migration procedure.

You need to understand what rights and obligations arise once you receive the relevant status, what circumstances may affect your ability to retain it, and in which cases the protection granted may be reviewed or withdrawn under the law.

That is why I look at your case not only from the standpoint of obtaining the status, but also with your future life and legalization in Poland in mind.

If you are considering applying for international protection or refugee status in Poland but do not know whether you meet the necessary criteria or how to properly prepare for the procedure, contact me. I will analyze your situation and develop a possible strategy of action.

Document processing stages

  1. Consultation

    I go through your situation in detail: all the facts of your case, the documents you already have, and what brought you here. As a result, you get a clear plan for the next steps.

  2. Contract and Power of Attorney

    If we decide to work together, we sign a power of attorney and a fixed-price contract, and a deposit is paid.

  3. Case Handling

    I handle your case personally from start to result: I gather documents, communicate with government agencies, and keep you updated at every stage.

Why me?

I help clients from more than 10 countries with legalization in Poland: Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkey and others. I take the time to understand your individual situation and explain the process simply, without unnecessary legal jargon.

The price is fixed once the contract is signed, and doesn't grow as the case progresses. You pay for the full agreed scope of work, with no additional charges for each individual steps of the process. If needed, payment can be split into installments.

I keep track of filing and processing deadlines, handle correspondence and negotiations with government offices, and take care of the day-to-day issues that may come up along the way. I work under a power of attorney, so all correspondence are sent directly to me rather than to you. You don't need to contact the urząd (office) yourself or worry that something might get lost- the case is under control at every stage.
